In 2016 he completed his first major photographic project “The Road to the Isles”, a collection of landscape images taken along the famous route through Scotland. His first solo exhibition of work was in July 2018 when he exhibited a selection of his "Transient Moments" collection of images from Japan at Glasgow's 13th Note.
With several more projects in the pipeline, John hopes to be exhibiting and publishing material regularly over the coming years.
